Dear Friends and Supporters
of CLAY Student Leadership,

Over the course of my life there have been certain men who have influenced me greatly. These men have guided me when I needed direction, corrected my faults, and invested in me personally over the course of my years. I am today a result of their mentoring. I stand now as one who invests back into the lives of others.

So it is with young men and women today who are standing at crossroads in their own life journey. They are faced with choices that will affect the better part of their lives. They stand in need of a mentor.

CLAY Student Leadership is just that mentor today in the lives of thousands of young men and women in our high schools across this nation. Under the leadership of Abel Lopez, CLAY Student Leadership has become the guiding voice, the hand on the shoulder, the challenge to be better, and the hope for families of teens that have all but given up on life. Listen to the change and hope given in the words of this young man who just finished a CLAY course in Texas:

“CLAY has taught [me] valuable lessons…the steps to being a leader have helped me when I thought I was going downhill.”

Serving as chairman for Otra Onda, the umbrella organization for  CLAY Student Leadership, allows me to invite you to learn more about what we do to mentor our at-risk youth today. I would also ask you to consider investing financially to help support this powerful life-changing program.
